It was 1969 when Mario Amati, the original founder and designer of the Itama powerboat, gave birth to a dream he had cherished for years: the idea of creating a range of extraordinarily agile and powerful, latest generation motoryachts, with a very special timeless style.

Itama is a name that has subsequently made history within the world of Italian open motoryachts. In over thirty years of activity, Itama have formed and capitalized on a firm identity based on an overriding classic style and now the vast engineering experience offered by Ferretti Group ownership.

This style has reached cult status and in the early 1970s the brand included the international jet-set amongst its admirers and followers. Clients won over by the elegant, sleek shapes and flush decks, are waiting for the release of the latest generation Itamas, to join the already updated fleet.
