The 77ft Ferretti Yachts 780 is available in two versions, according to whether you plan to employ crew or manage the boat yourself. The crewed version has the crew area and galley entirely separate from the guest areas. While the owner’s version has the galley in an open-plan layout ahead of the saloon on the main deck.
Whether you choose the crewed or un-crewed layout, the lower deck accommodation is the same, with a huge full-beam owner's suite amidships, plus two double and one twin guest suites. The crew cabin is in the stern. In true Ferretti fashion, the views out throughout the boat are superb, with uninterrupted windows down both sides of the saloon and in the cabins.View Gallery
As well as the dining area on the aft deck, and a large flybridge with optional radar arch and hardtop, the 780 has a delightfully secluded seating and lounging space on the foredeck plus a very neat fold-down sunbed on the stern platform. The platform itself can be raised and lowered to whatever level you wish and to make light work of launching and recovering the tender.View Gallery
There are two engine options for the Ferretti Yachts 780, twin MAN V12s of either 1400hp or 1550hp. The more powerful give a top speed over 30 knots. The range is 300nm or 280nm respectively at cruising speed. The 780 is beautifully smooth and quiet under way as all Ferrettis, with optional zero-speed gyro stabilisers for even greater stability.
