The Mochi Dolphin 54 perfectly captures the authentic, low profile elegance of her New England lobster boat ancestors, and combines that with the refined sophistication of a vintage yacht interior and the best of the Ferretti Group’s engineering expertise.
The interior of the Mochi Dolphin 54 has all the quality and character of a classic yacht. The main wheelhouse/saloon is a magnificent space, sumptuously furnished, and affording superb views all round through the huge windows. A sliding glass partition opens onto the aft deck. On the lower deck there are three double suites and an optional crew cabin.
View GalleryThe essence of the lobster boat style is the big, open space of the aft cockpit, which traditionally would have been used to handle fishing gear, but which lends itself just as well to relaxing in your favourite lounger. The centre section of the transom folds down to reveal the tender stowed under the aft cockpit floor, and to create a bathing platform. Steps lead up from the aft cockpit to a sunpad on the wheelhouse roof.
View GalleryWith its fine bow and broad stern, the Mochi Craft hull form offers exceptional performance, remarkable sea keeping and sure-footed handling, even in challenging sea conditions. And yet it also provides a comfortable, stable platform when it's at rest. Two 800hp MAN diesels give the Mochi Dolphin 54 a top speed of 32 knots (36mph).
