Riva first introduced its amazing power-operated opening hardtop feature a few years ago and it is still as impressive today on the new SUPER model. The ‘convertible’ cockpit roof is lifted off by two powered arms that swing the whole section forward and lower it over the seating area on the foredeck creating an open area that feels like it is on a 100 foot boat. The cockpit area also comes with automated controls for the entertainment systems and lighting. The hood operation is a remarkable party-piece that never fails to leave quayside onlookers open-mouthed!
For an open-top powerboat, the luxurious accommodation on the Riva 76 Bahamas Super is just remarkable. As well as a large, spacious owner's suite in the centre of the boat, a VIP double guest suite up forward and a twin-berth guest suite, there's also a lower deck saloon and galley, plus separate crew quarters towards the stern.
View GalleryWith the power top down, the 76 Bahamas Super is a magnificent and seriously glamorous open powerboat to enjoy sunny days on the water. Her huge, luxuriously appointed cockpit is an absolute delight, offering superb entertaining space including an 'L' shaped dining area with seating for eight. Too hot in the midday sun or caught in a passing shower, press the button and the ingenious hardtop swings back into place over the cockpit, perfect.
View GalleryIt's hard to convey the thrill of taking the helm of a 76ft open-top powerboat, especially one sporting a Riva badge! The driving experience is simply sensational, the handling excellent. Berthing is a pleasure using the joystick docking mode. Top speed of the Riva 76 Bahamas Super with the standard 1550hp engines is 32 knots, or 37 knots with the larger 1800hp units. For more added comfort you can fit the optional Seakeeper NG18 for extra stability, at anchor or underway.
